dc.description.abstract The purpose of this analysis is to determine the optimum long term operational profile for the five ALSEP systems presently active on the moon. The main interest is centered on the turn-off sequence, for experiments and other commandable units, that gives the maximum scientific return from each ALSEP system by prudent use of the power remaining in the RTG.
