Abstract
The high-titanium mare basalts show a wide diversity of textures and paragenetic sequences. The order of appearance of ilmenite and pyroxene is shown to be very sensitive to oxygen fugacity within the lunar range, using both constant temperature and continuous cooling experiments on 74275.
