Abstract
This paper provides an account of the instructional design and development process used by a team of students enrolled in a graduate level course in Distance Education as the team members conceptualized and created two prototype web-based instructional modules for the Lunar and Planetary Institute's (LPI) Mars Millennium web site and CDROM project to support the National Aeronautics and Space Administration's (NASA) Jet Propulsion Laboratory (JPL).
