Report on the lunar ranging at McDonald Observatory for the period July 2, 1973 to September 27, 1973

Abstract

The three lunations ending 26 Sept. 1973 produced 117 lunar range measurements, most of which had an accuracy to better than 15 cm. No breakdowns occurred. The acquisition rate was very low during the first lunation and the start of second lunation due to poor weather and minor equipment problems. The second and third lunations produced 103 lunar range measurements.
