dc.description.abstract Conventional negative temperature coefficient thermistors can be made to give a linear emf readout over a limited range if used in the right kind of circuit. A computer program is described which, given the thermistor data in tabular form and the desired temperature range, calculates optimum circuitvalves which minimize the linearization error.
