Joy et al. (2012) utilized a new element mapping routine that was developed to locate specific phases in complex crystalline or brecciated rocks. Several simple computer routines (macros) were developed to manage the data and project it in a way that is useful. Because these routines can be used to process data for other studies, we are making them available to the entire community. These macros are designed for element maps generated by FE-SEM (e.g., the JEOL JSM 7600F) and run on ImageJ. |
