A synthesis of available chemical data (including defocused beam microprobe analyses) for 53 Apollo 15 igneous KREEP basalts shows that their bulk compositional variation is much greater than previously recognized, especially in terms of 100 Mg/Mg+ Fe which ranges from 73 to 35. |
