dc.description.abstract Since deployment of the Apollo 16 ALSEP, only the passive seismic experiment has experienced a recurring anomalous event. This event appears to be cyclical in nature, resulting from the inexorable temperature changes that occur during each lunar cycle. The experiments package has also experienced sporadic functional changes due to spurious commands generated within the command receiver.
