dc.description.abstract Efforts during the three-month period covered in this report have been devoted to: 1. Completion of the synthesis of ammonium feldspar and the irradiation of a plagioclase 2. Completion of mass spectrometer analyses 3. Correlation of mass spectrometer analyses with DTA and TGA 4. Microscopic analyses of thin sections 5. Analysis of X-ray diffraction patterns taken at room temperature and pressure 6. Completion of special X-ray camera construction.
